May the surgery go smoothly, and may there be no complications. Bless their doctors and nurses and all the caring hospital staff who have been dutiful and kind to them. The men beg Jesus for help, asking, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" Jesus sends the men to the priests, and on the way, they discover they are healed. To the amazement of onlookers, the once-paralyzed man stands up and walks perfectly.īut Jesus doesn't just heal individuals, as his love is great.įor example, in Luke 17:12-16, Jesus meets ten men with leprosy when he enters a village. As the Son of God, Jesus forgives the man's sins and tells him to stand. In this story, Jesus encounters a man who's crippled and sits on a mat on the floor. Through Mark 2:9-12, we also see that Jesus can heal through love and forgiveness. When the formerly blind man washes the mud from his eyes, he can see again. To heal his blindness, Jesus spits on the ground, creates mud, and smears it in the blind man's eyes. In this passage, Jesus meets a blind man at the Siloam Pool. One such story that resonates with many Christians is told in John 9:6-7. Naturally, reading the Bible and reflecting on its words can bring you and your loved ones comfort during trying times, as you can look to Jesus for hope and strength. ![]() We can see God's deep love for His children reflected in Jesus's actions in the Bible. ![]()
